Christmas Parade?

Hey all, my family and I will be coming to WDW for christmas week this year. Trouble is I cant seem to find word one about the XMas Day Parade. ANyone heard anything or know when and where I can find more info?

If I'm correct, the Christmas parade you actually see on TV is taped in segments throughout the early part of December--it isn't actually happening live on Christmas day. Many of the floats that appear in that parade do appear in the parade that runs during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I don't know if they have a special parade that runs Christmas Day or not. I'm sure someone else here will chime in with those details.

Is the daily parade a Christmas theme as well? I mean the parade for regular day guests (not MVMCP guests)? I thought that they did a Christmas parade during the Christmas season in place of the SADCT parade. Please let me know... thanks

That's how it was 2 years ago as well.

If I remember correctly, in 2002, the regular SADCT parade ran through most of December, with MVMC parade only during the MVMC parties. But, they did start running MVMC parade during the day the week before and the week of Christmas and I believe that ended on New Years Eve. That's how it was in 2002. Someone else may know if that's normal or not, or it that's what this year's plans include.

We've been at the MK for Christmas for the last 5 or 6 years. They do not run the SADCT parade Christmas week and the week between Christmas and New Year's. They run the Christmas Parade in the afternoon every day. At least that is how they have done it the past 5 years. :sohappy:

hey everyone

Im Going December 21-29 I Hope I See You Guys There. Im Staying At The Lodges at Fort Wilderness Campground, How Is It There Has Anyone Stayed There Before? I know MVMCP ends the 17 so I wont be able to see it so what will I see?

I think the december hours are posted on www.disneyworld.com You should be able to find out the parade schedule for Dec 30-31 there. In the past, the christmas parade ended on Dec 31, New Years Eve. If that continues, then you should get to see the parade.
