Christmas - New Years Week Roll Call: Who's Going?

Not us, we went from Christmas to New Years i,n 2010, never again, way too crouded, over booked resturants,long waits for buses, phased shutdowns,no fasspasses, etc. We now go for Thanksgiving.Good luck to all going thse next two weeks.

We were there that week for a number of years, from 2003--2007.

We were all set to go back down this year, during that week, because we missed the excitement and it sure was a lot of fun.

However, we cancelled our reservation completely because of how terrible our test with MM+ was in Nov. There's an open room at Yacht Club if anyone wants it

Curious as to why the terrible exp with MM+? This will be our 1st time using it.

Who's going to be at WDW the week between Christmas & New Years?

I live approx. 12 hours away, and know of 3 coworkers who are going, and 2 family members. I feel like the only one up here who isn't heading to Disney that week.

Who here is going?

We'll be there Dec. 30-Jan. 6 with the kids!!! WOOT WOOT !!!!!!!!!

We've never gone between Christmas and New Year's, but were at MK & Epcot last January 3 on 1-day parkhoppers I won in a raffle. I was surprised how busy it still was then. We went to IoA and US Jan. 4 and 6 and it wasn't as crowded.

Our tickets were incorrectly linked, and could not be fixed after numerous attempts, so each park we entered we were "flagged down" and had to relink tickets with an iPad equipped CM. Same for the credit card.

Our overall ride count was incredibly down. Three Fastpasses per day?!! A normal number is upwards of 8 or 10 during the course of a day. And you realized that after you use your 3 FastPasses, many of the crowded rides are just not worth 45+ mins waits. Yeah I love Tower immensely, but I won't wait that long in line. Fortunately for us, we have vacationed to Disney a ton, so it was okay to miss rides. We did not want to miss them, but they aren't worth the wait.

Cancelled our Dec stay at Yacht Club at the front desk, after speaking to the "manager," who gave us the phone to call CRO when we were last there in early Nov. We would have been there this week too, bummer.
