Planning to check in at Wilderness Lodge on 11/24. Does anyone know if resort and parks will have Christmas decorations up by that time?

I think they start going up right after American Thanksgiving, so there should be some...

Actually Disney tries to have all of the decorations up by Thanksgiving so you should be able to see it all.

Christmas Tree

We were back-stage at DHS on Friday and saw 6 sections of the Christmas tree on two trailers (3 sections for each trailer). I would guess they don't want them sitting around, taking up space for too long.

They will all be up! I went last year and it is fully decorated by the Sunday before Thanksgiving! And the Osborne lights will be up and running by Nov 10th!

dont the christmas parties start like a week from now? i would imagine they would have a decent amount of decorations up, at least in the MK. i will be there at the same time, and while im usually against christmas before thanksgiving in disney i can make an exception!

The 'official' day for the start of Christmas decorations has been the day after Thanksgiving Day.
Individual experiences may vary.

Have fun.

Most of the decorations will already be up by your arrival. Epcot tends to be the only park that doesn't start it's festivities until after Thanksgiving.

At Calif. Adventure, we had some Christmas decorations up on the last night of Trick or Treat!

Yep. MK, AK, and DHS generally have everything up and operational by Thanksgiving. Epcot will hold off until after Thanksgiving and the F&W Festival to coincide with the start of Holidays Around the World; their decorations won't be completely up until the first few days in December.

Resorts will generally have full decorations by Thanksgiving as well.

Official word CM's were given by area manager at Epcot is that Epcot will be fully decorated by November 11, three days after Food & Wine ends.

According to a schedule someone posted on here a few weeks ago (copied from the CM portal), the MK will be decorated by Nov 6.

I'm not sure what that means for the rest of property, but it will be Christmas at the MK by Friday.

My family and I are arriving on the 22nd. We had been nervously hoping we'd get to see some Christmas at WDW. Reading this thread makes me feel a whole lot better about our chances!!!
