Someone told me that when it is Christmas at WDW they only let a certain number of people into the Theme Parks. Now i dont know if thats true or not? Can anyone tell me?
I agree....if you happen to be visiting and your stay includes a holiday, you are better off staying at the resort and enjoying the pool or other activities. Shoulder to shoulder down mainstreet and 3 hour waits for major attractions is not what I call "Merry" :ROFLOL:
That is why we avoided MK until later in the day. SO many people around the resorts when we got back from MGM were saying how it was crowded and with the rain, they had no place to do for coverage and also how the didn't see the parade (which we all know is the taped the first week in December) Going to MGM was perfect as it was not crowded and no waits for rides.
I love Christmas at disney! Not sure about only allowing a certain amount of people in the parks, but I would think Christmas eve and day are jammed! It wouldn't surprise me if they had to turn people away because of the parks being at capacity. Staying in the resorts and eating a nice meal at a nice restaurant sounds good, then maybe later in the day venturing out to the parks. Though I would think it would be hard to not go to the parks first thing in the morning, it depends on how adventerous and patient you are! I forgot they filmed the parade the first week in December, I wonder if I wll get to see it filmed, since I will be there!:xmas:
