I swear I am having the most difficult time in my life here lol. Staying 10 days and I have a lot of slots to fill. I've looked at reviews, menus, asked around... I maybe have decided on 4. There are just too many to choose from!

No children. Just me and my guy friend. I am like.caving in here. Lol I suppose having anxiety when you get overwhelmed doesn't help. To some it probably isn't so bad. For me? Oh man lol. I need help.

When all else fails, make lists and illustrate the pros and cons of all of the ones that seem to interest you. If the calendar is available or you can find last year's to give you a decent idea of what it will look like...you can try also seeing what works well where and let that help guide you as well.

First of all......reeee.......lax......... This should be a fun experience.
Where are you staying? Are you using the DDP? Do you want to go to any signature restaurants....those are the restaurants that use 2 points if you are using the DDP or will cost you the most $$ if you are not.
Do you know whack parks you want to visit on any given day during your stay? You can plan your meals first and let that dictate what park to visit or you can plan your park and let that determine what restaurant you will eat at.
First, tell us where you are staying and when....DDP or not. We will try to help as much as we can. :cat:

When are you going? If you're there September-October, your lunch-dinner could be accomplished by grazing Epcot Food and Wine booths. Some of your meals could also be accomplished by going to just-as-good counter service restaurants. For example, I have yet to go to a table service in AK. Flame Tree BBQ suits me just fine.

Wow I never have trouble deciding where to eat at WDW. I have trouble getting ADR's because I wait too long sometimes but I always know where I want to eat. I get more frustrated not having enough days on property to eat all the places I want to...
One thing I discovered last summer, the days I didn't have ADR's, now then I had some trouble figuring out where we would dine...most of the time it ended up QS at Gaspirillas. Once we drove to Olive Garden.

Alright-- Here is the deal. We are gkig down for fall. Sept or Oct. Still on the fence about that. I was thinking about getting the DeluxeDP so that I can combine some credits and hit up some signature restaurants and the Hoop Dee Doo. I know some people say that the DDP is just too much. I want to be able to not have to worry about paying per meal. It just seems to work for me so I'm going with it. So far, besides the HDD, I have decided on one breakfast at Chef Mickey's to get a character meal in (yes, still no kids, but I heard it can be a lot of fun!), Coral Reef, Le Cellier, 50s Prime Time, California Grill, and (maaaybe) Raglan Road. I'm planning to make our own breakfast most mornings, and do counter services mostly for lunch. This is the plan so far.

For the people saying it isn't hard, this is my first time going since I was 10, so I honestly have no idea what places except for HDD (that is the only dinig experience I actually remember from back then! Loved it.) . And to be honest, I may not ever be able to go again. At least for a very very long time, if at all. Who knows though.

Your choices for meals look good so far. You will enjoy Chef Mickey's even without children. 50's Prime Time is great fun provided you get a server who is into the role. If not, there is usually plenty of crazy stuff going on around you to make the experience fun. You will love California Grill....it is an experience in itself. Don't rush your meal there....relax and enjoy! I enjoyed Raglan Road...had dinner reservations before La Nouba. I only went to Coral reef once and that was about 20 years ago.....just have not been again but for no particular reason.
The DDP is great and it will give you plenty of flexibility to enjoy signature restaurants but remember....no one eats that much food in a week. We visited and went to a signature every night....by the time the last night came, I was only able to have water with lemon. Too much food!
Also...consider Kona Cafe and The Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. Both are table service. And for more signatures......Narcoossee's and Citrico's....both in the Grand Floridian. We enjoyed Kozzina's on the Boardwalk. Artist Point (in the Wilderness Lodge) and Jiko's (Animal Kingdom Lodge) are also very good. World Showcase restaurants...all good....just depends on your likes and dislikes in ethnic food. :cat:

Yeah, I was thinking Raglan Road before La Nouba. :) I am worried it'll be too much food but I love to eat. I eat when I'm full. Its pretty weird actually. Perhaps I am an addict. Sooo yeah lol, I am pretty much planning everything else around my dining choices.

Gosh I think I'm having so much trouble because I want to try everything!!!

3rd or 4th week of Sept is excellent, low crowds, MNSSHP, and Fodd & Wine Fest!
Go Deluxe! Why not!
I definitely like your choices so far. If it were me, and I wasn't sure when I would return again, I would make it a point to see as much of WDW as possible. I would book meals in each location (Animal Kingdom & Surrounding Hotels, EPCOT & Surrounding Hotels, Hollywood Studios & Surrounding Hotels, Magic Kingdom & Surrounding Hotels, and Downtown Disney.

I would recommend any restaurant at AKL! Especially Jiko!
I love Coral Reef & Le Cellier gets high marks, but even as an adult, meeting the princesses for breakfast at Akershus was one of the favorites of our last trip and we can't wait to return!
And you must visit the Boardwalk! It is truly romantic & beautiful at night! So I would suggest maybe lunch at Beaches & Cream or Dinner at Flying Fish or Yachtsman:inlove:!
50s Prime Time is highly rated and Hollywood Brown Derby is great and you can book the Fantasmic Dining package here!
In the MK area, Narcoossee's, California Grill, & Citricos are excellent signature meals! 'Ohana, Kona Cafe, Be Our Guest (Dinner), and Crystal Palace are highly rated as well.
I personally enjoy the quick service meals in DTD more than table service. However, Raglan Road & Wolfgang Puck are highly rated.

So Eat up!:hungry:

Good choices! Ok so with the dining plan, it goes by night of stay. If u r going for 10 days, you will get 9 days worth of credits.( act like u don't get credits renewed on your last day). The deluxe plan is a lot of food, also can be expensive. My best bet, since u get three a day, is to do one 1 TS credit, and one 2 TS credit a day. Go for breakfast and dinner with the TS and snack in the middle of the day. U get 2 snacks a day per person with deluxe.

I would like to suggest Ohana for dinner and Kona Cafe for breakfast, both at the Polynesian Resort. Boma is a great buffet at AK lodge. Since u have the dining plan, go with CRT. Who doesn't want to eat inside the castle! Citricos is suppose to be amazing at Grand FL as is Grand FL Cafe. Fultons in DTD is great too if u like seafood.Hollywood Brown Durby at DHS.

Have fun choosing!

It's all good, I've been a bunch of times, and I still have a hard time deciding where to eat. Keep in mind, if you're going Sep/Oct, you may be there during the Food & Wine Festival. Save some room for that! Also remember that the dining plan doesn't include gratuities, so you'll still be out of pocket on that.

We'll be there end of September into October, so I'm in the beginning stages of planning out meals too. Good luck!

Making dining plans can be stressful, but if you are flexible you should be able to get ressies at your choices as long as you book well in advance. Some of my favorites are Coral Reef (even though some people say its awful-I've eaten there 3 times for dinner and its always been great), Ohana for dinner (my absolute fave), 50's Prime Time, Tusker House for breakfast, T-Rex, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre, Le Cellier, Teppan Edo and Garden Grill. Happy planning!!!
