((HUGS)) Danny. I can't believe all the crap you too have had happen lately. Does this mean more surgery for George?Hello,
Wish I had some wonderful news to tell everyone, but things are down again with George. (Sometimes I feel like this is a bad dream and I'll wake up soon). As I last told you, he had an infection from the tubes that are going into his kidney, they have started him on an antibiotic treatment. The other day he had a blockage in the stint that was put in and they removed that. Things were going wonderful, he was voiding on his own, etc. Then this morning he woke up about 5am and couldn't urinate any more, he told the nurses and the doctors on duty but no one did anything about it.
His transplant doctor came in around 9 and when she heard he hadn't urinated since 5, she was furious. The whole hospital floor is their a--es handed to them.
The problem is that the prostate is growing and preventing the urine to pass from the kidney. His doctor also believs the the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder may have ripped. She is not happy, because the hospital floor could have prevented this.
Off course we are getting a terrible snow storm, so I can't go down the Syracuse to be with him.
Everyone keeps telling me it is going to get better, but how much worse does it have to get before it does?I am to the point of going to see a spiritualist and having them un-curse us.
Dan. I am sooo sorry this is happening to ya'll. I wish I knew what to say.Hello,

Yes, unfortunately more surgery. The prostate problem comes from when we first went to the hospital 4 and a half years ago. Right before the second kidney came out they tried to catheter him in the e/r down there. THe doctor was forcing the catherter in (yes, everyone can cross their legs in pain) and he tried 3 times. George was screaming, the curtain was wide open and people could see in. Finally a nurse shoved the dumb doctor out of the way and put one in, no problem. Then last year another doctor was doing exploratory surger of his bladder before the transplant and they "accidentally" nicked the prostate. He bled for 3 days straight.((HUGS)) Danny.
