Friends of mine took their 13 month old in mid-July and didn't know they took ressie's now. They waited 20-30 minutes, so not too bad! They had a great experience. I don't think my DD will be ready for her first haircut in November, but someday I'm set on doing this with her!

My younger son got his 1st hair cut there (ears, certificate & great photos) and now each time we go both my sons get a trim. The wait really depends on the day and there is no way to predict how it will be. My suggestion - go during a parade! It has a tendency to be less crowded & the floats come right out of the gate just to the side of the shop, so it's a great way to pass the time! You won't even feel like you are waiting!

My son got his hair cut there last week - we had a 9:30 reservation, walked in about 10 minutes early, and we had no wait. He got it cut, gelled, and had pixie dust put in it for the day. He LOVED it. Just a heads up to anyone who might be interested in it - they no longer do the colors, they only do clear gel. That was a disappointment, but he still loved getting it spiked straight up and having the confetti in it.

Ah, bummer (about the colored hair gel)!! My DD6 will be getting the haircut, but DD3 is just going to get it "styled." Welp, I might cancel the appointment for the youngest...we'll see!

i am determined to have my DD's first haircut at HBS! I think it will still be too short in November. Another good excuse to go this spring or summer i guess!

My DS 19m will be getting his first hair cut there as well. We have the photo pass plus for our trip the 27th. Does anyone know if they have the photographers there??? We would love to have them take photos and put them on our card since we purchased it for this trip!

I think I remember seeing WDW photographers in there while watching YouTube videos. I can't imagine why Disney wouldn't put one in there...they have them at B.B.B. and the Pirate Makeover-thingy. Time will tell! or you'll be able to tell me first since you'll be down there sooner than me!

I think first haircuts are 18 bucks? Give or take a buck. It comes with a hat, like in the photo above.

We made a res for a few days into our upcoming trip for our scruffy haired baby and I just called and changed to our arrival day and there was still tons of spots open. I want his hair cut sooner than later. Scrubbing sunscreen out his long hair at the end of the day isnt appealing :)
