Childrens' activity centers

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last year and they had a childrens' activity center where kids can go and color and do crafts and such. It was only our first time in a Deluxe, and the second time we had taken a child. Previously, we stayed at Coronado Springs with our son, and before that, at Port Orleans Riverside, with no kids. So I haven't had much experience yet in finding things for kids at the hotels, so I didn't know if I just overlooked these places at POR and CSR, or if they are only at the Deluxe Resorts. We are staying at the Carribbean Beach Resort in April and I was hoping they had a place like that over there.

They don't have the child activity centers at the moderate resorts. Their main function is supervised child care in the evenings when adults might want the night to themselves. The moderates will have some kids activities (mostly poolside) throughout the afternoons, but not as extensively as the deluxe and DVC resorts. When you check in to the resort you should be given a recreation schedule for the week that lets you know when they are having activities.
