We used the NeverLand Club at the Polynesian during our trip in April for one evening for our 9 yr. old. She loved it and so did we. They gave her supper which she said was very good. They also gave us a pager in case they needed to get ahold of us for anything. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. I also know that they do not take kids that are not potty trained or under a certain age. I think it is 4 but not sure. There are other options available for child care. There is a company, not affiliated with Disney that will send someone to watch your children in your room. If you look at some of the guide books that are available you can get more information about this.

Yes i have read about the thing in the room. So i have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old. Now the 5 yr old is fine with seeing fantasmic and other stuff like that, but you know the case with the 2yr old. Now the stuff we want to see is late night but the children want to be in bed. How long do you think the child care providers for your room thing will last. I hope just until 10;00pm at least ty.

They will stay as late as you pay them (1 or 2 am I think is normal, we don't tend to stay out that late ourselves!) I belive there is a minium of 4 hours. I know when we were looking into it, it was going to be around 70$ a night for one child. We have heard good things about Fairy Godmothers, but have not used them yet. I would if the need arose in the future.

I have never heard complaints about the child care services at WDW. They are pricey though. Most charge between 9-12 dollars per hour with a certain minimum.

We have never had a problem with the in-room services (most recently Kid's Night Out). Are they "pricey"? That depends on how much you would normally pay. We didn't think $9/hr was bad [or more, because the sitter took care of both our children].

Our most recent experience was with a male babysitter. They asked if this was okay when we booked. He took a little more liberty than we expected (taking them out of the room) but it worked out okay (we needed to be more clear so that we understood what he was going to do; we didn't have a problem with his leaving the room).

On our recent trip, we used Kid's Nite Out for our two boys ( ages 2 & 4 ). We went out twice and had the same sitter on both occasions. 4 hour minimum, I believe it was $15 per hour for both, with an $8 transportation charge. I'm sure that they will stay until 1 or 2 am. We and the boys were very happy with the service. kidsniteout.com has all the info.
