I have to do more laundry and then to the store. Hopefully I will here later. Hope you have a good day

Morning!

Sounds like grumpiness/sickness is catching. Steph I hope your day gets better immediately.

So far none of us have gotten sick (though Em did run a mild fever, not enough to slow her down) but it is def. going around.

I go into work late today, if at all. I have to take Em's b-day cupcakes to school (her actual b-day is tomorrow), then an ultrasound at 11:30. At that point, I wouldn't get into work until 1 PM or after, and the thought of driving into work that late in the day makes me want to weep. The drawback is that Fridays are so busy with HR questions (the guys tend to be unable to understand their paychecks) - so I'm a little stressed about that but figure they can make it without me.

Poor Em - you should see these cupcakes. I actually planned ahead and bought the cake mix she likes on sale, so we were good there. But in this house we tend to treat icing as a snack so went Grant and Em went to ice last night, there was mysteriously only half a can of icing left. So, they're a little light on coverage, but oh well. Em doesn't seem to mind.

Meanwhile, Princess Stewart has been sitting by the bathroom sink waiting for me to freshen his water. That cat will not drink water that's sat for more than a few hours. Yet he thinks nothing of dragging a dead bird around for three days.

Phew...that was long winded!

Thanks Amy. I'm just trying to fight whatever it is like crazy cuz typically when I get a cold it lasts a couple weeks...*checks number of days until I have to be healthy and pretty*

:lol: about your cat...sounds VERY familiar. DF's cat Bizkit will not eat out of a water bowl or the fancy fountain we bought. He will only drink out of a regular water glass and if we don't refresh it within 2.2 seconds of walking into the aparment look out. :rolleyes:

hands down greatest song of all time... I'm listening to it now... I'm actually getting kinda depressed cuz it brings me right back to being on the ridiculously hot beach reading a book with a corona in my hand...

SUCH a good song
