The Smothers Brothers had their own show in the 60s at the height of another era of political turmoil in this country. Their show, which contained a lot of political satire, was cutting edge for the time.
Tommy Smothers won a lifetime achievement Emmy tonight and accepted it with the same boyish charm mixed with a sharp tongue humor he was known for back then. It didn't work.

I think it would be interesting too...but I don't think I'd make a very good juror...I can see all points of view, but sometimes struggle with making the final call, y'know? Unless evidence would be overwhelmingly pointing me in only one direction. :shrug:
