I just came back from seeing Chicken Little. For the most part, I liked it. Anyone else care to chime in on what they thought? One of the only gripes I had was that the porcupine wasn't in it enough, he was one of the best characters. SPOILER ALERT!!!! If you haven't seen it yet, don't read the bottom lines!!!!

Now that I warned everyone, didn't the end of the movie resemble the end of "______-Wee's Big Adventure"? How it got turned into a movie that didn't at all resemble what really happened?

best since Tarzan

We went and saw it saturday in Digital 3-D. I had been expecting something pretty bad (mostly thanks to JHM) but was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't nearly as good as Lion King or the films right before it, but much better than Lilo & Stitch or Home on the Range. I will be buying this when it comes out on DVD.

The 3-D was great, I don't know if it added anything to the movie. Usually I have to strain my eyes a bit to not have a shadow from the 3D, but this was perfect without the heavy head sets they used in the IMAX versions of Polar Express last year. I wish HISTA & TTBAB were this good.

Everyone's A Little Chicken!

It wasn't anything big...but I guess that was to be expected from a movie like "Chicken Little." LOL

Some very funny parts, but overall the movie was kinda disappointing.

Proves my point that whether hand drawn or computer animated, what will make a true hit are all the other elements that we love about Disney classics.

I will give them this much...Chicken Little is an adorable and lovable character in himself!!!

Saw it on Sat. in 3-D...

Hey guys,

I got to see Chicken Little in 3-D and I have to say this 3-D blows away the 3-D we've seen in recent movies like Sharkboy and Lava girl. This 3-D is easier on the eyes and alot clearer. I'm thinking this is the same Digital 3-D they use in Mickey's Philharmagic. Kinda sucks that we had to pay an extra dollar for the glasses, but they are well made and my daughter just loves them.

About the movie, I have to say it was ok. Like other posts, not on the caliber of Lion King or Shrek but they're were some laughs for the adults but if you blinked you might've missed them, i.e., the china shop owner was a bull, that kind of stuff. I did like the main characters especially "Fish out of water" and "Runt of the litter". I do recommend seeing it in 3D if you can but I would think it's just as good without the glasses.

We saw it Sunday (but there's no 3D around here, so we had to see the regular version). I really enjoyed it. I loved the characters' names - Foxy Locksie, Goosey Loosey (I may be saying these names backwards), etc

I really loved how Runt of the Litter spoke in song or movie lines. He was really funny!

As for the ending, Bowfinger and others have also ended this way. I think it's funny.

The movie gets a big thumbs up from me and my kids!

Took the whole family last Saturday and everyone enjoyed the movie. My two youngest boys were riveted and didn't flinch the entire movie which means it must have been REALLY good for younger kids.

Ages:
41
38
16
6
5

(PS - It took some prodding for the 16y/old to admit he liked it)

I expected alot more then what i got. For the younger crowd i can see them enjoying it, but the older crowd no way. I give it a THUMBS WAY DOWN  because disney can do better. Pixar is where the real toon movies are.

Seems like that tween age just didn't like it...not cool enough for them, I guess.

Kids and us 40 plusers really enjoyed it, for the most part. proof that the older you get, the more childish you get.
