Chicken exit for RRC

It lead to the train unload area. If you stand and watch your party leave the station you will get to the unload area about the same time.

Heading for the great escape.
Isn’t it a bit irresponsible having live fowl so close to a moving attraction, even if you have provided them with a special door?

This is good to know. I am one of the live fowl that you refer to. Do most of the thrill rides have chicken exits? I would like to at least accompany my DH2B through the queue.

I've chicken-exited at Space Mountain, Everest, and RnRC so I know those at least have it. I've heard ToT has one but I've never gotten through the queue to find out. Honestly, there's no way they will ever force you to ride a ride if you decide you don't want to, so there's going to be a way out everywhere. Just depends on if it goes backstage, or they planned for it.

At Mission Space you just exit the flight bay through the normal exit doors (into the exit coordoor) before the 2nd preshow.

ToT has one but you will still need to ride an elevator to get out.

RnRcoaster is as mentioned

Test Track will take you up and above the track, down the other side (had to use it once to avoid being late for work when the ride broke down with me near the front of the line).

Not sure about SPlash Mountain but I'd assume you'ld just cross the log to the exit, same with Tunder Mountain.

Exactly. And with it being Disney, they will have planned for it.

You're right I forgot about it... it's by the Train tracks I believe. I wonder if they route you back there if you decide not to at the logs.

I mean at MIssion Space your "last chance" is right before the 2nd preshow (and you're actually supposted to be asked this every time before the show) however people still opt out for a varity of reasons after sitting down (Clastophobia, terrified children, or nerves for example). So it does happen after the last chance.

At Splash, I believe the exit gate by the train tracks (top-most part of the queue) is an emergency exit and not intended to be a chicken exit.
Down at the loading platform, you can just climb across the log to the other side without sitting down. There *is* a bridge up and over the logs toward the rear of the platform that was used as a chicken exit and also as kid swap reboarding access, but I'm not sure if it's actively used anymore. (I seem to recall noticing that the stairs were rather narrow)

My niece and sister used the "chicken exit" at Big Thunder, which is basically going through the train without sitting down. (I've never seen my niece move as fast as she did at that moment...) ;)

Okay here's a list of the chicken exits I know...

TOT--You walk through the queue and once you make it to the loading dock for the elevator...the people who don't want to go on are sent down in the "Maintenance elevator" and you get out at the gift shop exit area.

Space Mountain--Tell the CM that you don't want to go on just before they send you into the loading lines to get in the rocket and they will send down this path towards an exit door that sends you to the unload area at the end.

Test Track--You can either walk all the way through the queue with your party and exit before the "prep video" just before the second queue to get into the cars...or you can walk through everything and just before loading into the cars...you tell the CM and they send you down a special staircase to...once again...the unloading area where the displays are and the gift shop.

Splash Mountain--Just tell the CM and you step over the logs and can walk down to the exit area to meet your group. They may try to jokingly pressure you to get on...no worries you can still escape! haha

I can't think of anything else but ask me if you think of any more!

I didn't know TT had a chicken exit...very weird. I didn't think that one was intense enough to warrant one. I do like seeing the inside queue theming on stuff, so if I didn't want to go on, I might want to see something like those.

I know people who hate thrill rides but don't want to miss out on Disney's great queue areas, so the chicken exits are pretty handy. They just wait along with us and bail out at the last minute.

I remember when the post-ride "House of Future Living" ramp at Space Mountain was considered almost an attraction in itself, and it was expected that people would queue up without ever intending to ride the coaster itself.
