chick fila - 5k tommorrow

Im running my first offical race , to put my traning for disney in to action , and to build up to the disney half.. , but im runing the local chick- fila 5k here in my city of Decatur.. im excited and the price wasnt bad it was only 20 buck and its 25 on race day .. im going to early packet pick up from 4- 7 .. , i went out and got me some offical runing shoes today and some lock laces ( the girl called them speed laces) .. ill post updates after the race!... ---- Geting ready for DISNEY IN JAN!.. oh yea!!!!

Thanks! None in my area though. I am in NJ. Darn! I was hoping for some chicken and biscuits. Maybe they will expand their race schedule someday!

this was the the first year for it so they might expand it ... or have something simular.. --- now the big news : drum please.. -- i finished 2nd in my age group!.. and a time of 27:20

just checked the offical results , its 27.16 , pace of 8.47 , and 83 rd overall!
i finsihed it at 9:43.27.070
