Chic Fil A

As a Washington local, who has kids who LOVE Red Robin, I would be fine if I never stepped foot in the place again :)

While I would imagine that Chic-fil-a might be appealing to some people, one of the things I really like about WDW is the variety of sit-down places to eat that have different food than I'm used to eating. I would just like some of the counter service locations to offer some more variety beyond the standard burgers, chicken sandwichs, FFs and the occasional wrap or salad. Kings Dominion in VA has managed to have a nice merger of both chain (they do have a Chic-fil-a) as well as interesting food (they have quick service Chinese and Mexican, if I remember correctly).

What if they replaced the chicken nuggets with Chick-fil-a nuggets? Instant improvement.

Well, beats me because I've never been to Red Robins anyways. [/COLOR][/I]
Because it would be awesome.

There's a Chick Fil A at Orlando International Airport. Always try to stop there since there are very limited Chick Fil A's here in New England, except last time we forgot we were flying back on Sunday so we didn't get any
I love Chick-Fil-A and on the flight down to MCO, we are always in a hurry to get to DME; on the way back, we always fly on Sunday to spend the most time at the World. We don't have Chick-Fil-A up here, so it IS that "special, can't get it here" food. You gotta admit, for fast food, the quality is pretty good. That said, it definitely doesn't need to be in the parks, but if they wanted to "sponsor" WDW's chicken sandwiches, that'd be fine by me!

While running last minute errands on Christmas Eve the wife and I had C-F-A. We got so sick we literally missed Christmas. Fortunately my son only ate his fries and didn't get sick. Haven't been back since.

Wasn't terribly impressed with the food anyway (though the fries were above average).

Nothing beats Chick-fil-a for chicken sammiches. their chicken bagel sammich for breakfast is quite tasty as well.

As far as burgers go, 5 Guys shames RedRobin hummmmm.

I agree, as I don't even think it could fit anywhere in the parks. (perhaps a replacement for Pizza Planet tho, haha) But I believe it could be nice to have in DTD.

Probably related to whatever got you sick.

As far as burgers go, 5 Guys shames RedRobin hummmmm.
Burger alone? Beats it, but doesn't shame it.

Everything else that goes in to being a restaurant? Other way around. Different restaurants, anyway. One is fast casual, one is casual.

Also, it's yum.

Chick fil a is not worth the price to me. The food just isnt that good imo. Five Guys on the other hand is. Wouldn't mind one of those in DTD.

Funny. The one complaint I have about Five Guys is that it's overpriced.

Aren't Pollo Campero and Chick-fil-A basically the same thing?
No.

Um, I've eaten there more than once. Plain, mediocre, food at best. (Except for the fries).
Isn't taste subjective? So if most people like it, how would that make it mediocre?

Now, if it tests as mediocre with the general populous, I'd agree it's mediocre (wouldn't stop me from liking it). I'm not sure it does.

Ok my vote :)

Chic Fil A > Red Robin
Red Robin > Five Guys

So I vote for the big ole chicken!

I worked at Chic Fil A back in 1985. Good company with a quality product :)

I was able to wear the Doddles (chicken mascot) costume a number of times, once at the Special Olympics where I ran a foot race in it. I lost, big ole chicken feet are hard to run in. :ROFLOL:

We have all three restaurants here, I think the Red Robin burgers are slightly better than the Five guys but not by any wide margin.

I must admit, as far as fast food + chicken taste goes, Chic Fil A is 100% BEAutiful. :animwink: Their chicken doesn't taste like fast food. If someone can accomplish that (sorry Mcdonalds), it should be in the top fast food resteraunt chain in america. Like Subway. :D
