Ah, forgot about that one. Maybe with less screens, too? Not to mention the whole “crackhead Mickey” accusations leveled at it...

When even the international parks are falling behind in quality, you KNOW we are now in a dark, dark time for imagineering. But they say “the only way to go is up”, but perhaps this ISN’T rock bottom just yet, but I sure hope it is. Even then, there’s always the use of a diamond cutter to go past rock bottom.
Yes, last time we saw this was the mid 2000s with Disneyland Hong Kong and Walt Disney Studios Paris.

So, there’s likely a turnaround soon? Similar to what happened between those and stuff like Everest, RSR, etc. We can only hope...

Even then, Iger’s era did have annoying drawbacks like the slow death of original IP. It just might be a cycle. Remember the Pressler era?

I’m sad I never rode the bugs land train - I never realized it was anything worth riding!

The term “whimsy” really is the proper word for the old bugs land. I enjoyed walking through after a ride on the red car trolley on my way to cars land or the pier.

There wasn’t any 1 thing that was amazing about the land, but it was fun and whimsical. It also felt like you were actually in a backyard vs. toy story land in Florida.

It was a hilarious ride to be honest. When we'd go on it late at night the cast members would always be in a comedic mood and say things like "ready to go on the best ride at Disneyland?".

Are there even any tributes to ABL in AC? Similar to how GE only had a tribute to BTR OUTSIDE of the land?
