I heard that there is a chef's table at Citrico's. Does anyone know anything about this because I would be really interested.

I don't know anything about the Citrico's but my fiance and I have ressies for the chef's table at Victoria and Alberts for our upcoming honeymoon. We know plenty about it since we put in a lot of research before deciding to splurge. Was there something in particular you wanted to know? The concepts for the two restaurants is probably similar.

It's a private room called the Chef's domain, but beware citricos will not piece together a group. You have to pay the full $650 sticker price for the table wheather there are 2 or 14 in your party.

Looks like Vic and Al's is a better deal if you only have a couple of people but Citricos is a great deal if you have a large group. Good to know.

I'm not familiar with Citricos but I can tell you about Victoria and Albert's. The chef's table is a private table located in the kitchen area. Here you can watch and interact with the chef as he works. You can be served up to thirteen courses. They ask when you make the reservations if there are foods you are allergic to or just don't like. Again, when you get there you discuss with the chef your food preferences. It is an all night event taking 3 to 4 hours. There is one seating each evening at 6PM.

Prices on the internet say $125 without wine pairing and $185 with wine pairing. I know for a fact that the price has gone up and is higher than this but I can't find the exact information.

The table can accomodate up to 10 people a night. You need to book this exactly 180 days in advance and even then you might not be lucky enough to get it. Demand is high as it is the best seat in the World.
