Chef Mickeys Question

Does anyone remember what the restaurant now known as Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary Resort used to be called? Someone asked me the other day and I couldn't remember. I have searched several Disney web sites but can't find the answer. Anyone know? Help me..it's driving me CRAZY....thanks

I THINK (?) that it was the Concourse Steakhouse. Just don't quote me on it.

According to my 1996 Birnbaum's guide, here is the contemporary's list of restaurants;

California Grill
Concourse Steakhouse
Contemporary Cafe
Outer Rim Cocktail Lounge

The first two are obviously not what you are lookin for... but the last ones should be the one you are thinking of.

Thanks WDW-I, you've helped my failing memory again! I was going crazy trying to remember the Contemporary Cafe..ate there a time or two.

Concourse Steakhouse did not replace Chef Mickeys. They are both seperate restaurants and both are still open.

The restaurant that was replaced by Chef Mickey's was the Contemporary Cafe.
