Chef Mickey walk-in?

So I've been told that it's easy to just walk up to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and snag a table. True or false? We really want to go before MK opens on April 8th, but there aren't any ADRs available. Will we be able to walk up at 7:30am and get in?

This is not true. At all. You may get lucky, but "easy" is not a word I would use to describe it.

Okay, that's good to know! We definitely won't be there at 7am, so we've just made reservations somewhere else at 8:20. We have to get up and check into our Disney hotel before we can go to breakfast!

Probably a smart choice. I'll be down there at that time too, Touring plans has that monday as a fairly slow time, but you would almost defintely be waiting a while, and Chef Mickey's while good, is probably not worth a 45 minute wait.

Where did you decide to have breakfast?

Did you manage to get a ressie at Chef Mickey's for another day?

After reading some reviews and seeing the replies to my other thread, we made reservations at The Wave. :)
