Someone mentioned that there is a counter service place that is owned by The Cheesecake Factory somewhere in WDW. I LOVE that place. We don't have it in Louisiana and every time we go to Houston I have to eat there.

Someone please give me the specifics! Where, what it's like, etc.

Thanks everyone!

There was a Cheesecake Factory counter service location at Universal Studios at one time. I believe it is gone now.

I have heard about this place too, I am intending to visit at Prime Outlet Mall where I will be hopefully buying lots of clothes!! It is a shopping outlet place, you can google it "Prime Outlet Mall Orlando":)

I attempted to go to the counter service Cheesecake Factory that used to be in DisneyQuest back in early 2006 but it was filthy dirty all around and I was pretty grosed out. Even before I saw this thread I'm pretty sure I had heard it was gone. I'm a huge Cheesecake Factory fan, too. I've been known to announce that my Tiffany's jewelry needs polishing (even if I haven't worn it since the last polishing) just to go to the Galleria in Houston and get a fix. :slurp:

The outlet malls on I drive are dumps and full of junk like most so called outlet malls save your $$$ and time.

Mall at Millennia is most certainly NOT a dump. We enjoy a visit there everytime we go. No bargains though because it isn't an outlet mall !

Delicious food and gigantic portions.

Thats why I don't go.

Take all the salt and fat off the food.

Cut the portions by half

Charge me half the price (heck even 3/4 the price)

and then I will show up

It's a matter of quality vs. quantity

Although I have had some good crab cakes at the on on the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

We have a free standing one 2 minutes from my house in Virginia Beach. The funny thing is that we never eat there. It is always packed so I would imagine it would be a good addition to DTD.

With all the great, unique food at WDW why would you wanna go to a chain? Just saying...different strokes, I guess.

I often wonder the same thing about Kona. We have Kona Cafe where I live and it's a chain. We get free gift certificates to eat there all the time because we're in the "salt water loop" (my husband is a salt water reef tank keeper) and his friend is the one who overseas the salt water tanks at Kona. I'm NOT impressed. I would never go there to eat at Disney.

That being said, a lot of people don't have Kona near them and they make a huge deal about it at Disney World.

For me, the Cheesecake Factory isn't where I live so I never get to eat there and I happen to really enjoy the food!

It has been there for years and yet, we have never eaten there. We however love P.F. Changs across the street. Hi  back to you!

I've been there twice and believe it or not, the fire alarm went off both times and ruined our dinner and apparently the VB Beach fire dept. likes to take their time getting to Town Center as well. The food was very good but the ear piercing fire alarm kind of ruined the dinner to say the least. I would recommend it minus the fire alarm of course. I'll have to check out PF Changs though since I've never been there.

You have to try the Honey Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. It is yum-o. Maybe we will try Cheesecake one day, but we have been saying that since it opened.
