Checking in late at WL

We are going to WL in Feb and will not be arriving until close to midnight and are staying for 3 nights. I'm assuming we cannot do anything about paying full freight for the 3 nights, but if anyone has had the same situation and might have gotten and extension on check-out day please let me know. Would you get the park hopper pass for 4 days that they push or do they have any shorter time period options. Thanks so much

It's possible to request a late check out. They are complimentary until 1 pm. Until 3, it's 50% rate, after 3 full price. Late check outs are not available for many rooms, usually 1 or 2 per floor, so they are NOT GUARANTEED. You will need to ask at check in.

As far as tickets, it depends on what you plan on doing.

There are Ultimate Park Hoppers (length of stay), that you could get for two days since you are there for only 3 nights.

You can also get 1 day, 1 park tickets for up to 3 days. The two and three day options save you a few bucks but expire either 4 or 6 days after purchase.

Other than that, the 4 day park hopper is the shortest ticket you can buy, but park hoppers and park hopper plus tickets will not expire.

You'll pay full rate even if you arrive late that night. It doesnt matter. The thing that matters is that you reserved the room to keep someone else from using it. So they charge you for it.

My wife and I live 3 1/2 hours south of Disney World and for our honeymoon left our town at 11:00 to head to Disney, which would have put us there late to begin with. My tire blew out, (and I mean in pieces) an hour into the trip. My spare was a little tire and I could only go 50 mph on it. We got to Disney at 4:00 am. We still had to pay full rate for that night. The thing is that we reserved it to keep someone else from using it.
