Check on members?

I got a personal e mail from someone who says he's a member and a CM looking for my advice but I haven't seen his name on the threads,how can I check this is ok.:shrug:

Go to the advanced search page and on the top-left side, you'll see "Search by User Name". Start typing their username there and it'll bring-up matches as you type... then you can search for any posts or threads by that person.
