Check Card for Payment

Hi,

Can I use my Visa debit/credit card (linked to my checking account) when you check in or does it have to be an actual credit card? Also, if you have to use an actual credit card when you check out can you pay your bill any way, like cash?

You can use your debit card. I have used mine before numerous times.

Disney will charge the card provided the morning you leave. If you want to pay cash either resolve your bill the night before, or you'll end up with a voided transaction that can take days to process, which can sometimes be an inconvenience with debit cards.

We've used our debit/credit card with no issues I believe as long as it has a credit card logo (Visa is the usual one) then it's ok.

Like everyone's said, we have used our Debit card with no problems. And, they have not put a hold on the card like other places do. They will not charge the card at all until the day you check out. For some reason for us, the charge doesn't usually show up until a couple days after we check out though??

I almost always use my check card instead of my credit card for the charges. I've never seen a hold put on it either. On the day of check out I will see the amount of our charges pending then it usually disappears for a day or 2 and then posts after 48 hours.
