I'd like a number of opinions as to the cheapest and most expensive places in all of WDW to get breakfast and dinner, whether at the resorts or the parks.

Thanks.

That depends on what you are in the mood for...

I mean you could snag a turkey leg or a pizza....but if you want a FULL meal...it will obviously cost more..

Ok, let me clarify a little more:

For breakfast, either a buffet or sit down restaurant. For dinner, the same thing. I'm just interested on people's opinions as to the cheapest or most expensive places they've found.

It still depends on a lot of factors. As one example, I recently stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. MY wife and I were able to breakfast in the snack bar in the WL for about $13-$15. The WL snack bar also sells travel mugs for $10.00 which are refillable with Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocalate, and soft drinks for the duration of your stay. This helped keep our breakfast tab down since our coffee was "free" each day.

In the same hotel, breakfast in the Whispering Canyon Cafe (which is a sit down) could be $25-$30 for the two of us after tax and tip. Other hotels have "character breakfasts" and those will be a little more.

As for most expensive, I guess it is limitless. You could go to any top tier restaurant (Alfredo's, Brown Derby, etc.) for dinner and drive the bill up to several hundred dolars by ordering all kinds of alcoholic drinks. If you just stick to entrees and one drink each, Alfredo's or the Brown Derby will run you ~$60-$80 total for dinner. Character dinners are usually a buffet (a la the Crystal Palace in the MK) and I haven't been to one in a long time, but I would guess them to be in the $40-$50 range for two people. I could be wrong on that though.

I'm pretty sure Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian is the most expensive place in WDW. Expect to spend $100 per person there.

Cheapest may be Pecos Bill in Frontierland. There is an unlimited burger fixins bar which some people think of as a free salad bar. :D

Really???? We ate there last year, I don't remember it being THAT expesnive. It must be dependent on what you order. (of course our rule of thumb is to split everything, how else could you afford a 20 dollar plate of spaghetti with one meatball.)

I havn't eaten at either restrant in France or Coral Reef, mostly because I thought they were too expensive. Italy was pretty pricey, but beautiful and good food.

Any time you go to an all you can eat place, how much you get for your money really depends on how much you can pack away.

For a good deal, Beaches and Cream at Y&B is wonderful. I saw a new place at Morocco that looked good, fast and not too pricey, but we didn't get around to eating there.

Liberty Tree Tavern in MK is often forgotten. Good food, good selction, not cheap, but not overpriced for Disney standards.

Tusker house in AK is good food, not to much money and nice atmosphere.

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: This is our 100th post (about darn time.)

Victoria and Alberts is the most expensive. Dinner for two with the wine pairing and tip, runs about $300-$350. But It is worth EVERY penny

WEll, I would agree that the most expensive is Victoria & Alberts, but you can make it expensive elsewhere. When they still had the vacation packages (PHew, dating myself now) where they gave you free meals, and you could eat whatever and it was all included in your "meal". My family had a mission to try to spend the most moeny on a dinner. They included an apitizer or dessert, the main course, and the drink (Non-alcoholic)

The best we ever did was at Narcoossee's where we racked up a final bill very close to 300 bucks for 4 people.

All I know is the rooftop restaurant at the Contemporary was $500 a plate for New Years Eve. A friend of mine ate there and sat next to Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I saw him in the Studios the next day.
