Chase Disney Reward Card...is it worth getting?

I keep getting offers in the mail for this card. Whenever I book a Disney vacation they ask if I am paying with this card. Is the Disney Rewards card worth it? Anyone have it and can explain the advantages that come along with having one. Also they vaguely state certain purchases at certain Disney places you get 10% off if you spend at least $50. But they wouldn't specify which places and what items. It is difficult to get precise information on this card. Can anyone help and advise?

We use it just for the rewards. We payit off every month ,we use it for things we would just pay for,but put the stuff on there instead. Just putting the disney payments and air fare on there gives my daughter a nice little balance to spend on souvineers. It was also nice a couple of years ago when we decided to book a trip at less than 90 days out so we used the zero intrest for six months to pay out the trip since we really could not pay it out with disney like we usually do because of the time.

Others have stated about the Venture Card through Capital One to earn miles/rewards and we never fly for any vacations we usually take as we like road trips.

This is why I like the Venture card. Though they are called "Miles" you can use them for any travel related purchase, not just airfare. Even park tickets from Undercover Tourist came up in the list of travel items I could redeem after our last trip.

This discounts though from the Disney Card were nice. And like ninja mentioned the no interest option might be useful for some who stay on-site.

Yeah I knew you can use the "miles" for other than airfare but I and DH have not had good experiences with Capital One cards. We have awesome credit and no negative history with anything on our credit reports, and we were treated very poorly on several occasions as in wanting to change our interest rate almost double and lower our limit for NO GOOD REASON!!! We fought with them forever and we finally closed the card b/c we were tired of being treated that way as great customers for years! The intrest rate was ridiculous compared to our other cards by like i said DOUBLE. I personally try to never pay intrest but hey sometimes things happen. We still have a bank account with them but I rather Chase bank and prefer Chase Credit cards, and several others we have. Will not open another card with Capital One ever again! Sorry to ramble but they just left a bad taste in our mouths. This may not be the case for everyone but we personlly like our lower interest on the Disney Premier card just in case we ever leave anything on there. Also we did always stay on property and now as DVC memebers we use the card for our dining plan, dues, loan payments ,(being its direct from them we get the double rewards) , and all daily expenses (most of which are in tbe 2% catagories) and pay it off right away. So it really works well for us but others yes the Venture card may work better. :)
