Actually, just the opposite is true. You must "secure" your room card with a credit card. This is normally done in amounts of $500.00 at a time. So, you are liable for the total amount on that room card if it is lost or stolen, until you report the loss and the card is cancelled. If your credit card is lost or stolen you are only liable for a maximum of $50.00 and the credit card companies won't bother to even charge you for that amount. So, you are much safer using your credit card. Plus it is very easy to cancel a credit card and have a new one issued with just one phone call to a toll free number 24/7!wdwprincess03 said:I'd go w/the room card. I have always felt better about just using our credit card or cash. One thing about the room key charge is that you could see any discrepancies before you left, and get them resolved before you get home.
