Charges for missing dining reservation?

I'm sure the answer to this question is probably buried somewhere within this site, but to save some time, can anyone tell me how much is charged to your credit card if you fail to make it to your reservation? I have some "iffy" reservations booked, and I'm not sure if they will be met. How late can you cancel? And if we do miss one, will we still have a credit for that day? All replies wll be appreciated. Thanks!

I have been trying to find that info also. All I remember seeing was 10.00 for a cancellation less than 24 hrs. On the old site, you were charged a fee per person in your party. I'm still looking. All it says on the site, that I could find, says that each restaurant has a different policy.

10$ per person of the reservation. I asked when I made my reservation.

Yeah, I'm trying to find it still. There are ones that I feel are set in stone for us. Like, Chefs de France, O'Hana, and Hollywood and Vine those we will make a priority. But the other 4, I'm not quite sure I thought them trough. I love to eat at the table service restuarants, I just hate the restrictions it puts on our trip. We like to "fly by the seat of our pants", and having to BE HERE, NOW kinda spoils our breezy-ness!

No- not every restaurant, just the ones that require credit card "holds". This is mostly signature, dinner shows, Be Our Guest, and character meals. I would make my decision ASAP.;)

In November Rainforest Cafe allowed my Mom and I to cancel our Reservation 2 hours before we were to be there! We were exhausted and ready to call it a day and they were very ok with it.:)

I would cancel not only so you don't have to worry about charges, but also if you're unsure, you're freeing that time up for someone who may be dying to get into that restaurant but it was booked.
I called and cancelled the ones we were not sure we would realistically be able to take out time for. So, they are freed up now in case someone wants to book those days and times. I wasn't trying to bogart them for myself. I truly would never do such a thing. Our trip is 2 months from today, so I feel that is a timely matter. Besides, I doubt the restaurants I cancelled are on anyones "must have list". I bascically cancelled 3 lunch Table Service ADRs. I just don't want to be ruled by a reservation schedule. If we have to stand in line, so be it. It's not like we will go hungry!

Just made ressies today and the CM tells you the policy at each. Dinner shows you will e charged the FULL amount for a no show.. resturants with characters and sig meals are $10 per person to no show.. you have 24 hours to cancel if you wont make them.

From the email confirming my ADR:

There is a one-day cancellation policy and a $10 per-person fee will be charged if you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation.

Oh, no! I didn't mean that either. I just didn't want anyone to think I was a "ressie" holder. Trust me, I want everyone to enjoy WDW as much as we do. Reservations are such a pain. I mean they are great to have, so you know you'll get to eat where you want, but on the same hand they are a pain because they are so restricting, you know? It really is hard to say "well, I want to eat this, on this day, at this time 3 months from now, at Disney World. I really wish it was first come first serve, but then again, who wants to wait in line to eat when all you do all day is wait in lines? Oh, well honestly, I wouldnt care if we ate cold bologna sandwiches as long as we were eating them in the happiest place on Earth!! ....but I do love me some Le Cellier!! :D
