Besides Olaf and outfit changes of characters, any Disneyland or DCA exclusive characters we can meet that aren't available in Disney World? We're doing both California and Florida this year and my daughter wants to meet as many characters as possible. Never been to Cali before!!!

The very first thing we ran into at the parks last week was Oswald, right inside the gates of California Adventure.
Later on, we met Meeko at Paradise Pier.
No lines for either. They were just hanging out, waving at people.

Oswald is the big one. Mary Poppins and Bert meet most days around Main Street/Fantasyland (Bert no longer appears at WDW), Cruella does as well (she's not around WDW all the time). The Wicked Queen roams around Fantasyland often here as well. Fairy Godmother spends her afternoons near the castle.

Tinker Bell is joined by other fairy friends at Pixie Hollow (the fairies no longer appear at WDW), typically Rosetta, Silvermist or Iridessa.

Storm Troopers often patrol Tomorrowland looking for rebels to apprehend.

We had Captain America and Thor, but they're both on hiatus until Innoventions reopens (so far date TBD).

Disneyland has a different setup to WDW in regards to characters. Outside of the Frozen, Princess Hall, Pixie Hollow, Mickey's house meet and greets there is no published schedule and characters don't always have set locations where they always meet. Characters that appear can vary day to day as well which can make things difficult too.

Just to add to what GiveMeTheMusic has said the Mad Hatter will be with Alice somewhere in Fantasyland or on Main Street, Captain Hook is sometimes with Peter Pan, the Genie is sometimes with Aladdin and Jasmine, Suzy and Perla sometimes pop up with the Fairy Godmother and Pinocchio and Geppetto are about too.

In addition to what was already posted, max and yellow rabbit appear randomly there. Also Terk Koda Kenai Brer Fox & Brer Bear are possibilities at Storytellers.

When are you going? There's also a few seasonal rare ones for example Roger is meeting on weekends right now

Yes, i was about to mention Roger Rabbit.

He only seems to appear during the seasonal 'Spring Roundup' that takes place on weekends over at the Big Thunder Ranch in April/early May.
A real treat to see/meet him.

I saw him last week and was thrilled, as i remember him from back in his Disney/MGM Studios days.
He is LONG gone now from WDW.

I think the springtime roundup will be over. The VIPs should all have their 60th outfits

Wait...Roger is only there on weekends? Ugh we're going next Wednesday...I was hoping to meet him. I may have to switch and brave the 24 hour day :/

Yeah after Easter it went to Fri-Sat-Sun and even then it's not guaranteed he will be there
