Characters in Flight

I tried searching for this already, but no luck.....either it's not there or I'm not too good at doing searches.

What is Character in Flight? How much does it cost? What hours does it operate? Has anyone done this and have you liked it? Does anyone have any pictures? I've always wanted to do a hot air balloon ride, it this anything like that? Can my 2 year old go on this with us? Any help would be much appreciated! :sohappy:

Guest Policies

• Guests under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
• Gondola is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Guests must transfer from an Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV).
• Weather conditions determine the number of Guests who may board the gondola in any given flight.
• All flights and times subject to change due to inclement weather.

They don't specifically state an age restriction, so I'm guessing yes.

Im at WDW right now at SSR. I plan on doing Characters in Flight this week. I'll try and see about age limits, $$ etc.

It's $14 for kids and $16 for adults. There is no age requirement, so you should be able to take your two year old with you.

Here is some Disney info on Characters in Flight. I have had several friends attempt to go on this, but the weather has not cooperated!!!

TINKER BELL VIEWS: Downtown Disney guests get lofty, Tinker Bell views of Walt Disney World Resort and beyond as they soar to rarefied heights in a new attraction now open every day (weather permitting) at Downtown Disney West Side near Pleasure Island. Characters in Flight, operated by Aerophile, is a bright yellow tethered gas balloon with whimsical appliques featuring a dozen of Disney's animated flying characters in silhouette such as Mary Poppins, Peter Pan and Dumbo. Characters in Flight rises into the Florida sky carrying up to 30 passengers to an altitude of 400 feet. Tickets are $16 adults and $10 for children ages 3-9. Availability is on first-come, first-serve basis.
