Characters in Flight Coming to DTD?

Heres an interesting rumor, one that I hope doesn't happen. Pretty sure theres also no room for one. Theres not even a water/lake in DTD.

Resort News - (10/26/09) A Screamscape source tells me that Disney is speaking with the company behind the Characters in Flight balloon ride attraction at Walt Disney World about bringing another such Balloon experience to Downtown Disneyland.

That would be an awesome view! I wonder if they will put it somewhere behind some buildings or in a parking lot, and create a passageway to get to it. There doesn't need to be a lake for it; in fact that only complicates the installation!

I hope not, it ruins the views from just about everywhere, it'd be awful to stand in New Orleans Square and see that ugly thing floating up.

Plus ours hasn't exactly brought in the cash, so I'm hopeful this is all speculation.

Yea I know there dosnt need to be water but the water helps the look of it a bit.

I agree the biggest problem if this happens is the sight of seeing it inside DL. Plus I can imagine some DL fanboys would have a huge out cry considering some already have issues with seeing parts of the Golden Gate bridge from Main Street.:ROFLOL:But yea seeing it from NOS or anywhere in DL/DCA wouldnt be a pretty site fanboy or not.
