I'd rather be in Disneyland (or the Grand Canyon)....Larry is going to stay at Harrahs while I'm at Disneyland with my brother using his DVC points. Then Larry will drive out to meet us, see the GC, Sedona and drive back to Vegas to fly back home.
Whew!

Can you see the pictures now? I reloaded them.
I lived in flagstaff for a few years, and spent a lot of time exploring that whole area. It's amazing!Yes, thank you. They're hilarious.
Went to DL in 1/2009, but my brother and his wife have never been. I've never been to Sedona or the GC but they have. I'm very excited.

Definitely! Jerome is a cool town - it was kind of a hippie hangout back in the day.
I think that's what bothered me the most about this Vegas trip. We were so close to the most awesome part of the country, but yet all we saw was casinos and hotels. Never again!Thank You! That helps make my decisions easier.

Look into staying in Flagstaff. There are a lot of hotels there now - it was pretty much a one-horse town when I lived there.Yeah, I'm not the casino type, and Larry's not the DL type. He's going out to play in a World Series of Poker Event, while I play at DL.
I'll only have 1 night in Vegas. We stayed there 2 nights on a business trip a few years ago, and I was kind of bored. :snore: Drove all the way to the Hoover Dam one day, found out what it cost to get into the visitor center, and left.
But I can't wait to see the big hole in the ground. I'm going to pack as much into that trip as I can. Leaving DL on Tues. for Sedona, driving to the GC on Thur. and then to Vegas on Friday. Just can't decide where to stay Thursday night. GC lodging is way too expensive.
