Me, wife and DD9 have 5 night trip staying at French Quarter in November.
I currently have 5 character meals and we are on the DDP - We missed out on dinner at the Castle for her birthday and this may be our only Disney trip
Minnie’s Seasonal @ Hollywood & Vine for dinner
Akershus for lunch
Tusker House for lunch
Chef Mickey for Breakfast
Cinderella @ 1900 Park Fare for Dinner
Did I overdo the CMs?
Should I delete or add?

Tusker House and Chef Mickey have the same characters primarily. You'll have to decide whether you want them in chef's outfits or safari outfits. I prefer the spicier nature of Tusker House to the standard fare of Chef Mickey's but you chose breakfast for that meal. They really can't screw up breakfast.

Park Fare is unique and funny thanks to the stepsisters.

Akershus is unique. I like it.

Hollywood and Vine is typically just kind of meh foodwise, but I've not been to this specific meal.

The main issue is value. Because you're on the DDP, you mostly have the most inexpensive meals of the day booked (breakfast and lunch).

You are right I didn't think of that aspect - best to get the character meals for dinner?
I think i missed some of the ADR for dinner - but if they come up I can just switch
Thanks for the insight

Hollywood & Vine for dinner will probably be the same characters as Tusker House and Chef Mickey's. I've done all 3 for dinner.

If you're looking for different characters, Crystal Palace has Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore - the food is standard WDW buffet stuff - carving station, salad bar, etc. 'Ohana for breakfast has Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey - and this is actually a pretty yummy meal.

No, not the easiest, but look for cancellations as it gets closer. I've also gotten reservations by signing up with mousedining.com for alerts. I was able to get one pretty easily using that site.

My brother went to Hollywood & Vine earlier this month for dinner and he really did not like the food. I enjoyed Tusker House dinner this time. 'Ohana breakfast is really good and they have a maracas parade with the characters.

One character dinner we tried and will go back to is Story Book Dining at Artist's Point--not for the character interaction (which was great) but we really enjoyed the food.

I think you could get rid of chef Mickey or tuskerhouse since they are similar characters at each, I don't really like doing breakfasts because it cuts into park time so I personally would dump Chef Mickey's.
Likewise no need for both Cinderella and askerhous. I have always found askerhaus is great. Lots of princesses and cool building. I was not a fan of Park Fare, but some love it, I just found it slow, not a really interesting space, out of the way to get to and the characters take a long time to come around if you get sat at the wrong place and time.
