Character LUNCH? Too hard to fit in a busy day at MK?

We have a 2:20 character lunch at the Crystal Palace. We have a breakfast very early at AK with Donald & Mickey, and a reserved dinner at the Sci-Fi Dine-In. Do you think it would be a good idea or bad to try to fit in a 2:20 lunch at the Crystal Palace just so my Winnie-The-Pooh fanatic kid gets to meet him? I'm concerned it will break our day up too much with all of the things we want to do in MK. Are there other places to meet Pooh that doesn't involve a 1-hour wait?

Thoughts?

Is that all the same day? 3 parks in one day is a very busy day! If it's different days I would keep the lunch. I like to have a nice lunch sit down in the middle of the day, you get out of the heat and the crowds during the busiest time of the day and come out feeling full and refreshed.

A 2:20 lunch works well for my family, it can serve as a great late lunch/early dinner.

Are you eating at CP simply to see Pooh? Because he meets at both DAK and MK with Tigger. However, CP also offers Eeyore & Piglet, which are not available to meet anywhere else.

I would cancel the Sci-Fi. It is horrible! Then, if available you can move CP to Dinner. Then, Pooh and Tigger can often be met in Fantasyland, while Eeyore usually meets near the big hat at DHS or sometimes with Pooh in Fantasyland instead of Tigger. Piglet does not have any regular meets, he is the least common, also even though he does not meet at the CP Rabbit is uncommon and does not come out of the 100 acre wood often.

What's horrible about it?

The food's good but the movies are not that great. I would go to 50s Prime Time instead, cool experience, only if your going to be at DHS that is

Eeyore does meet occasionally in Fantasyland instead of Tig, and he occasionally appears near the Sorcerer's Hat or at Pop-Up Suprise and he also occasionally appears in U.K. in the place of Tigger

Lunch is not a bad idea. 2:20 is not a bad time.

If it were all on the same day, I'd have said you were nuts...but taking out all the other stuff, you're really just asking us if we think a 2:20 lunch at the CP is a bad idea, right?

No, it's not. :). Have to eat lunch somewhere...might as well meet Pooh!

We're going to be going to one park per day, so four days total. Breakfast Tuesday, lunch Wednesday, dinner Friday. Monday is our arrival day, so I figured it would be better to kind of play it by ear for Epcot. Thanks everybody.
