Hi,

I have a list which i think is pretty correct in regards to character heights. I was just wondering; if im, for example 6 foot, would i be the characters in the 5'11" - 6' range, or the 6' - 6'2" range, or both??

Also, is there anyone in entertainment who i could PM this list to to make sure the heights are correct. I dont want to post them here incase its not allowed.

danke

If you're a true 6 and Disney measures it, Tigger and Goofy will be among your best friends.

If you're on the short end and not 6, enjoy tiggs... if you're taller, enjoy goof. 5'11 1/2 is IMO the best height for the tall WDW Character CM's

MKT already answered your question by saying if your "5/11 1/2" that that is the best height range for being among the tall characters..For example my brother I believe is 6'0 he gets to do both Tigger and Goofy. So yes if your borderline you get to do Tigger and Goofy.

Does anyone know or could anyone post some of the general height restrictions? you know, like what kind of characters (both face and fur) fit into each height range. i know these questions come up a lot, so i think it might be nice to have them all layed out. also, what's the genreal rule for body type? super skinny, athletic, average, etc. just wondering! thanks!

I don't really think I undertand your question...I mean i'm sure Entertainment Casting directors look to see if you can fit into the costume, or have the body type that they are looking for. I'm sure there looking for about average, or look to fit the role. Any help to what she's asking?

I think she wants a list of which heights go for each character (unfortunately that is something that is not allowed to be publically released).

There's really no specific body type they're looking for when it comes to most fur characters. As long as you can fit into the costumes you can fit into the costumes, obviously you couldn't weigh 300 pounds because that wouldn't work with the costumes. But not all body types fit all costumes but that doesn't mean they won't hire you. I know a girl who can't do standard Minnie because she's too well endowed to fit the dress but she can still do other costumes, I also know girls who are too skinny to do standard Minnie, girls whose shoulders are too narrow for Donald, etc.

haha! "too well endowed" anyway... thanks tho, these responses did help answer my question. i guess it just depends what character you are then, hu?
