character greets?

hi! my hubby and my 5 kids ages 6-12 will be going to disneyworld in july 2004. (we live in pensacola, florida so we know how hot and muggy it gets here) anyways, last summer we took a trip to universal studios, and instead of buying the autograph books we made some. the kids and i found out what characters might be there, and found either stickers or printed out pictures of the character for a page, and had the character sign on that page. we want to do the same for wdw. So i was wondering if anyone knows where to find a list of characters that will be there and around where they will be? i think that is the kids favorite part!

When you arrive at the parks, just get a time guide and it'll tell you the times and places were the characters will be at. It wont list like EVERY place but a good majority of them will be on the card. That or just ask a CM to call the Chip n Dale Character line and then they can tell you were one certain character will be at a certain place and normally, the time they will be there.

okay i will definately get that, but i was more interested in knowing before hand so the kids and i can star collecting character stickers and pictures to make the book.

I've had good luck asking for specific characters at Magic Kingdom.
Not so much at Epcot/MGM/AK. They don't seem as attuned to character appearances.

There are places where "known" characters appear and then there are alot of places where you take what you get.

Look at the park maps and schedules for when/where "fixed" characters appear. If you don't see who you are looking for, then ask when/where they might be appearing that day.

i can at least get an idea and then add outhers when we get home if there was some that wasnt on that list.

congrats that is a great site! thanks so much for sharing the info.
by the way how on earth did you get all the pictures of the characters alone? i always seem to have somebody elses kid walk through the middle when im taking the pictures.lol
