Character meals:
Goofy's Kitchen
Ariel's Grotto in DCA
Breakfast with Minnie and Friends at the Plaza Inn
Storyteller's Cafe at the Grand Californian
Lilo and Stitch Breakfast at the Paradise Pier Hotel

My sister and I just did a character hunt about two weeks ago.

At the entrance in front of the mickey floral, you can usually find the Mad Hatter and Alice, and sometimes some other characters. They can also be found by the Tea Cups.

Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Cruella can always be found in Town Square early in the morning and through out the day.

The Princesses can be found at the Princess Fantasy Faire. Beware!! Long lines!! This has been the only place I can find the princesses now, unfortunately.

Mickey and Minnie can sometimes be found at their houses.

The fab 5 can be found in Toontown during the day.

Ariel can be found at her grotto by the Matterhorn/ Tomorrowland.

Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye can be found in Frontierland.

Buzz can be found in Tomorrowland by Space Mountain.

And Pooh and friends can be found in Critter Country by the Pooh ride and exit to Splash.

Mary Poppins and Bert can be found around Coke Corner.

edit: Forgot about Musical Chairs by Coke Corner. At 2, I believe, you can find Mary Poppins, Bert, Wendy, Peter Pan, Alice, Mad Hatter, the penguins, Queen of Hearts, and Tweedle Dee and Dum (not all at the same time) playing musical chairs with the guests. It looks like a lot of fun!

Quick question:

If we are the parks for the day.....is it pretty easy to get over to Goofy's Kitchen for a dinner? About how much time should I allow if we are at DCA?

Everyone keeps saying how easy it is to travel around there, but I haven't been to DL in over 20 years! :p

PS Is Goofy's worth it for dinner? It seems very expensive! (It will be me and DS ages 11 and 8)

You can walk there, but it's a bit of a walk- especially after being at the parks all day. Goofy's Kitchen is at the DL Hotel. To get there from the parks, you have to walk through DTD and through the hotel. Here's a map of the resort: http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/disneyland/DL-Resor-t-Map.jpg I'm really not good with time, but I think that would take 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

I have not been to Goofy's Kitchen in over 10 years, but I have heard great things about it. I think it's the best character dinner at the resort. When I went years ago, I loved it!
