Well, the character dinner at the Grand Floridian is at 1900 Park Fare. At dinner time, it is Cinderella's Royal Feast. The regulars include Cinderella and Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla, and the Fairy Godmother. The food is your typical buffet fare, with a bit of fancy flair. There is a seperate kid's selection as well...which offers typical kid favorites.
Thanks for the info. Is this dinner a good choice? Also, if we have a PS for breakfast before the park opens, as they let us through the gates can we stop to rent a stroller or do we have to go back after the park opens?
Julie, when we ate at Donald's Breakfast in Animal Kingdom we went in about an hour before the park opened and one lady that was there had to stop and rent a wheelchair, so I think the stroller/wheelchair rental is in fact open before the park opens.
We have stopped going to the Grand Floridian Character Meals all together...The food is fine, but the service is soso. I am know hooked on the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. With the little ones maybe the Land at EPCOT or the Crystal Palace at MK
I would suggest Chef Mickey's if you haven't done it. We do it every time and love it. Our trip in October half of our group did Chef Mickey's and half Grand Floridian. The group at Grand Floridian weren't real impressed. They weren't crazy about the food - seafood night and the place smelled like fish. But they were really disappointed in the character interaction. Bear in mind they had been to Cinderella's breakfast earlier in the week where the character interaction is amazing, but I've heard that from some other posters here too.
