Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but what character dining experience would you say is best suited to a party of 5 with two girls under the age of 11? We've done crystal palace a couple of times so what else would you recommend?

Thanks

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Cinderellas Royal Table! A must do at least once! Me and DH don't have kids and thoroughly enjoyed dining in the castle and meeting the princesses. :)
Also The Royal Banquet Hall Askerhus in Epcot is wonderful too and you meet most of the same princesses. :)

I second Cindy's!! It is a beautiful location and they do a sweet "wishing ceremony" with lights and music (the old Cinderellabration music). Boys get swords and girls get magic wands. Both get wishing stars, too. My kids still have theirs. Cindy meets & greets you downstairs. Look for Jac and Gus Gus up on the shelf near her! The CMs will ring chimes and announce your royal family to dine upstairs. There's a fun, winding staircase leading to the dining room (& an elevator if you need one). Most likely you'll meet Snow, Aurora, Ariel (in her green ballgown), and Belle (in her blue dress). We have met Jasmine there, too.

We've also done Norway and that is also royal and lovely. It seems to be easier to get reservations for Norway than the castle. They used to change which princess would be standing for the formal shot. It was always exciting to see which one it was. Now it seems to be Belle in her yellow ballgown. We've met Cindy, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Alice, Snow, Ariel, Aurora & Jasmine here over the years.

Do it before the magic changes for them. You won't regret it.

My daughter loves Akershus at Epcot. Getting to meet the major/popular classic princesses was great for both my son and daughter. And the food was okay too. We've got reservations to go there again during our trip in March.

For MK, we usual do Crystal Palace for the character meal. Because all of us still love Pooh. And air conditioning is a wonderful thing... So we've already got reservations for dinner there as well.

And one that we've done before is Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness. It's not your traditional meal with the characters coming to your table. You get to go up on the dance floor and dance with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. There's also an opportunity to line up and take pictures as well. That was a pretty cool experience, but the food is meh.

This year we're trying dinner at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary instead of doing the Backyard BBQ or the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

It depends what characters they are in to and really want to see. If they are in to seeing princesses, then what the others have listed (CRT, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare) will be amazing for them. 1900 Park Fare is a buffet with Cinderella and her step mother/sisters and Prince Charming.

If they want to see other characters like Mickey, Minnie, etc, then I'd recomment Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill. Hollywood & Vine at DHS also has a character dinner which is a lot of fun.

can totally recommend Crystal Palace too. it's on my family's list every time now..:especially an early breakfast reservation gets you into MK early before the crowds!
