Character Dining Question

Why did they get rid of characters at Liberty Tree anyway? That was always my favorite place to go and I haven't been back since they took the characters out.

I didn't know there were ever characters there, but I still love the Liberty Tree's food so much!

Tusker House at DAK has a character lunch as well as breakfast. I was there last February and Donald was outside as host with Mickey, Daisy and Goofy inside. Everyone got a picture with "Safari Donald" while waiting for their table and a Photopass salesman comes to your table and tries to sell you a photo package. BTW, I like the food here MUCH more than Chef Mickey's.
