Myself and my (new) Husband are off to California for our Honeymoon next week and of course as part of our visit we will be going to Disneyland and DCA.
My question is are any of the Character Dining meals OK for Honeymoon couples- we don't want really romantic meals and we love meeting the characters, so thought this would be the perfect option.
I was looking at Lunch at Ariel's Grotto, A breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. but we are open to suggestions
So which are the best???

Congratulations on your marriage! I hope you enjoy your trip to CA.
I'm not sure what the concern is exactly. You will be allowed to eat in these establishments without kids and it will not seem overly strange to have 2 adults dining there. You probably won't get any special attention though.
It is a good thing that you aren't looking for romance, because you probably won't get it. The characters meals tend to get a bit chaotic due to children.
They are both good, but not great. Check out the menus here to see what appeals to you. Or you can choose based on which characters you want to meet the most.

What you will get is a sit down meal of decent quality and some photo opportunities with characters.

Congrats!!!!!

We prefer a more laid back character dining experience and enjoy the character breakfast at PCH Grill inside Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
It's much less chaotic than Goofy's Kitchen (and only about a 5 minute walk away).

We love the storytellers breakfast at the Grand Californian Hotel as the characters are more unusual such as Braer fox and Koda which you dont often get in the parks. The food is good and the restaurant is really nice with a great theme we are going there one week today for breakfast :slurp:
