I was thinking about creating a website for people going to Disney or people who are fans. I wanted to make a site all about character greetings. The main feature would be a checklist with a list off all the characters that have been spotted, where and when they were spotted and also maybea photo to prove it. I would find this great as I have always wanted ot know about all the characters it is possible to see. I know there is site with a big list of characters, bu I wanted to go into more detail to help people. I kinda see character greeting like card collecting or something. Everyone has seen and met Mickey, but when you have met a rare character and lots of peopel havent, its like owning a rare card. If you know what I mean. Would this site be a good idea? Would peopel be willing ot help with photos? I know i have lots of photos of characters by themsleves but I dont have many rare ones, just the usual. Is it a good idea?

Someone beat you to it. Check out Toonfinder! While they don't have a checklist, it's got a pretty detailed listing of characters and where to find them. Mickey

I actually have a site very similar to the one you've described. It's called A Guide To Walt Disney World Characters. It's got a character index which includes the characters name, a picture of them (mostly clip art of images from the films), what movie they are from, how rare they are usually, and a brief biography of the character. There's also a photo section and location guide.
