hello everyone..

very exited for my upcoming trip in 3 1/2 weeks for 1 whole days in orlando

we are thinking on taking our kids (boy 6, girl 5, girl 2) to one of the character breakfasts..

i dont want it to be all princesses because of my boy..i was thinking (seeing the description on http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/) that the best option would be contemporary.

the description says that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and pluto would be there, so i guess there's a character for everyone.

which of the character experiences do you recommend?

the breakfasts are for a closed number of guests?

thanks

We like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. We also like Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom with the Pooh characters and friends.

Either way, you're going to need reservations for wherever you decide to go. I would suggest seeing what is open at this point.

The Contemporary has some of the best food options.

But if you can't get a reservation for that one, the Tusker House Safari breakfast at the Animal Kingdom rarely is sold out. (and has the same characters)

Personally, I enjoy the one at Ohana at the Polynesian (with similar characters plus Lilo and Stitch, Chip n Dale)

Oh, I agree! Try Tusker House or Ohanas at the Polynesian.

We also really really like Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. They have similar characters to Chef Mickey's: Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto in their beach ware.

Keep trying EVERY DAY. People do cancel.

On a previous visit, I was lucky enough to get lunch at the Castle 3 days before we arrived because I kept calling.

I went to Crystal Palace and to Chef Mickey's. The latter has one or two extra menu items, but I like the former better because it is inside MK. :D

I would go with 1900 Park Fare. It's a little easier to get into than some of the others and it's just beautiful. Great character interaction and a wonderful variety of food.
