Has anyone got any comments regarding the included character breakfast for Disney guests who have the Ultimate pass?
Which breakfast woud you recommend as I am at WL June 13th to 27th and was thinking of either Chef Mickey or Hollywood and Vine.

Thanks for your comments.

Are you travelling with Children? If so how old are they? Also are they boys or girls or both? do they have favorite characters? That info would be really helpful to know before you made your final decision.

Character Breakfast

I would suggest going to Chef Mickey's. It's a great place and all the cast members there are wonderful, and there are several characters that make an appearance there. Chef Mickey, Minnie, Chip n' Dale, Goofy and Pluto were all there !

It's just myself and DH celebrating our first wedding anniversary. I would personally like to see the cuddly characters such as Mickey, Pooh and Tigger. So on Magical_mickey's suggestion I think Chef Mickeys is winning at the moment.
Thanks

Well I would go with Chef Mickeys as well. But you might also pay the price and do an extra one as well. They are alot of fun...I talked my husband into it when we went there on our honeymoon...now that we have children we always do at least one character meal. We are going in May and have finally gotten into Cinderellas B'fast for the first time...the girls are thrilled...my oldest daughter and my niece (5 & 8) cant wait to dress like their fav. princesses and meet them too! My hubby likes to eat at Sci-Fi
theater in MGM over Hollywood & Vine so that is another reason why I would pick Chef Mickeys. Too many fun places in MGM to eat at...50s prime time, Sci FI etc. Have fun & take loads of photos!

Character Breakfast

I would also suggest making your reservations as soon as possible when you arrive in WDW, as it is usually a very popular breakfast among other guests...and, i believe you could even call now and make your reservations if you know which day you want to go. Have lots of fun ! Say hi to Mickey for us ! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I called for Priority Seating at Chef Mickeys for the 22nd of July and it was fully booked within 4 hours on day they released the PS's for that day so I missed out on my Birthday treat. :(

I then tried first thing on the next day, waited in queue about 4 minutes and when I got through I managed to get PS's for the 23rd for our party of 4, but the lady told me that it was already about 50% gone.

If you're going during peak I suggest you try and get PS's before you go to avoid disappointment. You can get them for Chef Mickey's 120 days before you want them.

Jodigrl328,
My holiday brochure calls it the Ultimate Parkhopper ticket and it gives all the benefits of what you call the resort magic plan/package with a flex feature. Perhaps it's called different things for the US and UK markets?? Oh well will have to wait and see.

I also would recommend you call BEFORE you come to make the reservations. It took me 9 days of dialing up at 655amFLorida time(555am my time) to get through for our reservations for Cinderellas. Everytime I got through by 702am and was told it was sold out. I enlisted the help of others and finally got my reservations but they do book early for the character meals. Those meals are not as expensive as some of the other meals though so you may want to use your flex feature for a different meal...when we were on our honeymoon we used one of our flex features for the Poly Luau(spl?) which was about twice the price of a character b'fast. But I am big on getting the most bang for my buck.

Thanks for the info claire. :)

I wish I had some advice to offer, but the only Character Breakfast I had was at Artists Point which was very nice and suprisingly calm, with Pooh and Friends. Unfortunately they no longer offer it. :(

hello

Claire L, I live in the UK and am going to WDW in July of this year! (i cannot wait) ne way. We have those passes also from Lunn Poly - 10 Day World Park Hopper Pass. And ours to say that a character breakfast is included. Do not think we will be able to get seats now. Only 82 days to go. I might try just in case.

Have a fab time in Florida

You should try...because when I went to make our reservations for Cinderellas B'fast they only book 60 days in advance! Some are 120 in advance and others are only 60. Also the CM's told me when I called to try back 14 days before we go because they make some extra tables available 14 days prior...so say you will be there on Aug. 15th then call August 1st for the 14 day prior. Also, we were able to get into Crystal Palace Character B'fast at last minute...they do get cancelations. so dont give up.

Hi,
There is no flex feature offered with any pass. Let me say that again: there is NO PASS that INCLUDES a FLEX FEATURE! Got it? If you think your passes came with the flex feature, you must be confused. Your flex feature comes with your PACKAGE. IF you are staying on Dinsey property (and you must be because you have the Ultimate Park Hopper Passes which are only available to resort guests) then you are entitled to one flex feature per person per package. So: With the package you get resort accomodations at a Disney resort, Ultimate park hopper passes valid from the day you check in until the end of your check out day, and a flex feature. You can use this flex feature for lots of things, not just character breakfasts or dinner shows. I agree with Dwarful. Use the felx feature for a dinner show ($45 per person) and pay for the character breakfast. They are only about $16 per person or so. Again: No pass comes with free character breakfast.

This pass i was talking about doesn't have a flex feature. And you don't have to stay on property. It's just a 'bonus' thing that you get a character breakfast.

Hey there absolutely call ahead and do a Priority seating for a character breakfast. May I recommend the one at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom?? Pooh and crew are there and the service we got at that one in December was amazing. Also they are the only one I have seen with a made to order omlette station!!! Number to call for Priority seating is 1-407-WDW- Dine I always dig my breakfasts with the Characters so Id recommend it as a flex feature but if you call the Disney general info line 1-407 W Disney, they probably can tell you all the flex feature options. Maybe there will be something you want more!! Have a great time!!:sohappy:
