Character Audition

Hey everyone,

So I went to casting and after them looking at my resume with all my theatre shows, they've sent me with an invite to Thursday's character auditions...

So here's my question - what are they like, how hard are they, etcetera?

They are not that bad. What you will most likely do is learn a small little dance routine and then perform that in front of people. The dance steps go from easy in teh beg to a bit tougher towards the end.

Also, there's TONS of posts about Characters in this forum alone, just check like the next 2 pages of posts, you can find a lot of info, even stuff about my audition I had in August. :D

Don't listen to WDWKat. She's not a character, She doesn't work for Disney. She's never even been there. She's a liar. That's not even a picture of her as Pluto. That is me as Tigger though.

Just a couple of questions for you then :)

1). How long did you have to wait after your audition was over before you found out what the results were? What happens after this?

2). I'm auditioning for seasonal, so can training be scheduled based on my availibility, meaning - Saturday/Sunday's?

Any other info you can provide would be wonderful!

:sohappy:

Don't listen to Night Aaron, he's one of those "Character Stalkers" who really wants to be one and takes pictures of them and says their his. *Whispers* A little cuckoo in the cabeza if you know what I mean! :hammer:

Anyway, after you go to the audition, they tell you your results right there, there's no wait period or anything like a day or a week. They'll either tell you "Congrats you made it", "You're what we're looking for but we don't have any open positions right now" or "Sorry come back in 6 months".

When you get trained, it's going to be a 5 day training course, all 5 days are in a row so you can't really preference when you want to start training.

Hope this helps!
