I noticed that for the past week, the safety bar has not been lowered by the Ghost Host on the Haunted Mansion.

Thunder Mountain was down all morning today as well.

Finally, there was a stage on the East Side of Main Street today, just South of Center Street I believe. Any idea what this was for?

The safety bar was lowering properly, and I did not notice a stage on Main Street. Possibly for the Halloween Party? Thunder mountain ran all day (but only with 4 trains)

doesnt it feel good to get 999999 on buzz? Its fun to show off that score to the CMs and then watch their faces when they actually see ya get the top score lol

Anyone have any idea how long Center Street off of Main Street is going to be blocked off?

The old toy store (which has been closed since the Emporium's expansion) was linked to the new computer system months ago. Word is that the area will be used for either additional seating for the bakery or a small store. Right now, the entire area is simply being refurbished.

Im pretty sure those fans at Barnstormer have been there atleast since early July. Its like walking through a wind tunnle by those pop-corn stalks.

Thanks so much for the updates. It's nice to hear about all those little things for those of us that can't get there frequently! :(

Is there something special you need to do or shoot at to get 999999 on Buzz? I've seen people on the forums get it, but I've never done it myself and don't know how.

no, but certain tagets are worth more points than others. there are also some tricks like holding down the gun will give you 100 points every 5 seconds or so, in places where there are no targets.

By holding down the gun do you mean holding down the trigger where there are no targets? Also, which targets are worth more? I'd love to impress family next time I go!

Yes, holding down the trigger.

In general, the smaller and further away the target, the more points. And don't forget to turn the car around and shoot in ALL directions.

Here's a couple of high-value targets to get you started. I wont tell you all of them...

Inside palm of the Left hand of the orange robot in the 1st room, 100,000 points. Top of the volcano in 2nd room, 25,000 points. There are more high-value targets, but that will get you started. When you hit a 100,000 point target, you get a funky noise. Sort of like a jackpot, but not quite...

I forgot to mention, the 7 dwarfs in Spectro now feature bring LED bulb costumes with (i'm sure must be) smaller batteries.

Nice work on the update. A few things of note...

On the Center Street rehab, it was interesting that at night, all of the lights on th closed bak wall/builing/ etxc still were lit up behind that scrim. Kind of a ghostly effect.

Glad you confirmed the name chane on the Athletic Club - thought that was new but I couldn't remember.

Your photo of those support beams under rehab made me chuckle becaue I noticed two very very skinny ones also under rehab on Main Street - and they had two very skinny construction walls around them - no more than one foot square. I was looking for a sign tht said "this column under refurbishment for your future enjoyment. As an alternative, we recommend looking at columns on the other side of Main Street during this time." :lookaroun
