Changing to BWV in October?

Yesterday afternoon, I booked my friends and I to go to WDW Sept 30 - October 6. My home base is Saratoga, so I booked us there.... but we really, really want to transfer over to Boardwalk at the 7 month window.

Does anyone have any idea how the room availability is around Food and Wine? Do you think this can be done?

Any insight you have would be welcomed!

Tough, but not impossible. I was able to get a 1 BR @ Beach Club Villas at 7 months for my trip this past October.

One Bedroom preferred garden/pool view will be easiest to get but no guarantees.

If you have your sights set on a Studio, it will be much more difficult. Most of that period is already unavailable in a Standard View studio. (I own BWV points and just checked online.) BoardWalk View studio will also be hard, and the other preferred view will eventually follow. Food & Wine fest time is very popular at Epcot area resorts.
