Ok, so I am bummed. I really wanted to see the Journey Tribute band. This is so weird - do we know if it was this Disney's doing - or was it the bands? With the exception of a SERIOUS illness, how do you just leave in the middle of a gig?
It is an illness within the band unfortunately.

REALLY Disappointing!!!
My wife and I stayed for three songs at the 7:00 PM show. Don't now where they got these guys but DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. We were told the lead singer for original band came down sick.

I can imagine the process of booking them went something like this:
Boss: "Hey, the Journey band can't make it! Anyone know of a band we can get on short notice?"
Office Drone: "Well, my cousin's wife's sister's son has a band that has played a few gigs..."
Boss: "Brilliant! Get them on the horn!"

Last night I practically inhaled my dinner at The Land and hustled to the theatre and while I was approaching Japan I heard the band start and the song was "funky" and "bassy." I'm like, this can't be a Journey band! When I got to AA the band was playing "Brick House"! I then left and went to Fountain View to have a strawberry Edy's.

The band was pretty good, the singer was definitely having trouble hitting the high notes, it sure wasn't Steve Perry. But some people said actually he was pretty good when they seen him before. Hopefully, he was sick or coming down with something because he didn't sound that great.
