First if it really was that dangerous we wouldn't be bringing it back. The rearranging and bring back the show stops it more of an updating... I know, I know semantics.

You where most likly there on a day it was too hot for the performers to stop!

The parade has been running since the beginning of 2001, it is meant to be around for a while longer.

The show stops did not occur during the rain and were taken out a good while ago. I must be crazy cause I swear the show stops were taken out a while before the accident.

They could have been missing for any number of reasons. Like you said, rain, or if a float was missing for refurb or another problem, etc.

Good point. Also, this is hardly the first parade that's had stops - Remember the Magic had them for sure, and I don't know about others. Not to downplay the accident (as it was horrible and sad), but they've been doing this for years with no other major problems (that we know of), and I'll bet everyone will be even more vigilant in their safety measures (at least for a while...)

(heh - I just looked at my post. Funny how I find myself qualifying every statement, so I'm not accused of generalizing or leaving things out. You guys can be a tough crowd!:lol: )

Not only are they breaking the Cinderella float from the Princess Unit, but they're taking the lost boys away and putting Wendy on the finale float with Pan. Some of his dialogue will have to be modified, so it will make sense after the change. I think the rest of the princesses will remain on the castle float.
