Changes to SADCT coming soon!

On Sat, June 5th, the new version of the SADCT parade will be run.

On Mon, June 7th, the Show Stops will return.

This is all I know. Anyone else know more??

Do you mean when the floats stop every 5 minutes? That might be for the summer..I really hope that they do not bring this back for safety reasons. I don't see it coming back..My brother would probablly pass out.

Usually they do have the show stops during the summer, but if it looks like it is going to rain they will not have show stops. Also, if they go on weather, which means it is getting very hot out there, sometimes they only do a few not as many as there you usually are. But they have to be very careful to make sure all is clear before moving on with the parade. I can get really really hot....believe me I know ;). But I should say I am glad the parade is still up and running.

It would appear to be during peak times - the parade stopped while we were there over Easter.

Does this mean that the princesses float will be back or that a new one will be available. If I am not mistaken the reason why the stopped stopping was because the crystal castle float was not made for the parade making it impossible to stop due to the fact the adios and movements would be out of place.

ok, what is the NEW parade version? and, i asked guest relations several times, and they had no answer as to when the stops would be coming back, then jonnie asked last week, and guest relations told him there would be no more parade stops. i hope they do bring them back - it makes the parade so much more magical - but what is the new parade version you are talking about?

I might prefer a more up close view, such as the curbside of the flag pole median that none of the guests think to sit on as they all crowd in front of the station.

Just found out from a parade CM that the order of the floats might be changed and part of the princess float will return, such as the Cinderella globe.

So there actually is going to be a new version? Thanks Pixie Duster..can't wait to see it! Not so sure about the parade stops, those are sort of dangerous (in my opinion) for the performers.

Ok, please excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a parade stop? Is it just that the performers and floats stop every couple minutes along the route to wave and stuff? If so, how long do they stop for?

It is a little more than that! The parade comes to a stop and a special music soundtrack starts up! In this parade the performers in the snowglobe talks about there dreams and with a little pixidust the dreams come to life in one way or another with special features on the float.

Wow, that's awesome! I've never been there for that! When I saw it a year ago (man, this parade's been around a while!), they just ran straight through. Thanks for the answer.
