Changes to 2009 Dining Plan

Okay so I thought in 2008 you got an entree and dessert with the Magic your way with dining. Well, now it appears that in 2009 you can choose/or get both a dessert and appetizer - here is the link - http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/2009/dining/ - am I reading it correctly?

It doesnt look correct. Last year the appetizer was cut from the plan.

Also if you read the Quick service package it only includes ONE quick service meal a day it should be two a day.

That is not correct. The appetizer is only for diners age 3-9.

The official brochure explains it properly.

That page also has other incorrect information on it...

Package Delivery goes to your hotel's gift shop, and hasn't been delivered to your room in many years.

And yet the page referenced says
"Your Purchases Delivered to Your Room
Shop at select Disney stores throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and have your purchases delivered right to your room so you can be free to play without lugging around packages, nor have to interrupt your day to return to the hotel to drop them off."

Each adult table-service meal includes:

Each child table-service meal includes:

• 1 entrée and 1 dessert (lunch and dinner only)
• 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

Or

• 1 full buffet

1 Quick-Service Meal
Each quick-service meal includes:

• 1 entrée or 1 complete Combo Meal
• 1 dessert (lunch and dinner only)
• 1 juice (breakfast only)
• 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

1 Snack
Such as:

• 1 frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle, fruit bar, popcorn scoop (single serving box), single-serving grab bag of chips, single piece of whole fruit, 20-oz. bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Dasani water, medium fountain soft drink or juice, 12-oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea.

Children ages 3-9 must order from a Children's Menu where available.




It looks correct to me!!!

Found the problem in the PDF file! Last year the appetizer was not included in the plan for children. Is this a mistake or addition? Here is linkey.

Looks like someone corrected it, because it definitely said something different 12 hours ago... (Further proof that Disney monitors these forums?) :lookaroun

Of course, as pointed out, it's now wrong when it comes to what a Child gets at a Table Service restaurant...
